Yes we have a credit / debit card payment facility.
How much is a cash consultation?
For a first consultation the rate is R1100.00. For follow-up consultations the rate is R800.00. There may be additional charges levied for additional procedures and investigations performed
At which hospitals does Dr le Roux operate?

Planned and elective surgery is routinely performed at Hilton Life and Lenmed Howick Hospital.

Dr le Roux is available to attend to emergencies at Netcare St Anne’s Pietermaritzburg, Hilton Life and Lenmed Howick Hospital.

Does Dr le Roux dispense medication?
No, medicine is not dispensed from our practice.
What procedures does Dr le Roux perform in his rooms?

He performs diagnostic procedures in his consulting rooms: Cystoscopies (visual inspection of the bladder and urethral through a specialized camera)

Prostate biopsies (Sampling of the prostate to check for prostate cancer)

Testicular biopsy(Sampling of the testis to confirm the production of sperm in men with infertility)

Ultrasound examination of the Kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and testes are also performed.

From what age can Dr le Roux perform a circumcision for children?

Dr le Roux can perform circumcisions for children at any age provided there is a medical, cultural or religious necessity.

Medical reasons to perform a circumcision include a tight foreskin, inflamed foreskin and bladder infections. If circumcision is not needed but desired it is recommended that circumcisions be delayed to the age of 12 in line with the child-care act for consent.
